Brenda Chapell

Teacher

Hello! My name is Brenda Chappell, and I am thrilled to join the Victory Deaf Academy family as a teacher. I am excited to meet and work with our students and be part of such a meaningful community.

As a Deaf educator, I am passionate about serving as both an inspiration and a role model for Deaf students. I hold high expectations for all of my students and encourage them to pursue their goals and dreams. I strongly believe in the message shared by I. King Jordan: “Deaf people can do anything hearing people can do, except hear.” I had the privilege of attending Gallaudet University, where I earned my degree in Education.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy a wide range of creative and recreational activities. I am a big fan of superhero movies, especially Marvel, and love going to the movie theater to fully experience the vibrations and action on screen. I also enjoy arts and crafts, sewing, decorating, and trying new recipes. I love being creative and working with my hands. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and going on road trips.

I bring 14 years of teaching experience and am excited to begin this new chapter in Arizona at Victory Deaf Academy. I look forward to building strong connections with my students and supporting their growth and success.
